Here in Southern California, we don’t get much snow.
Actually, let us be more specific: The last time snow stuck on Los Angeles soil, it was 1962. So…it’s been a while.
But in Downtown Burbank, we’ve got an annual tradition to take the edge off all that incessant sunshine: an outdoor ice skating rink!
WHEN
December 12, 2019 – January 5, 2020
WHERE
The corner of N. Third St. & Orange Grove Ave. behind City Hall.
Downtown Burbank’s most festive holiday tradition, The Rink in Downtown Burbank, returns for outdoor ice skating, fundraising events, and special performances from Thursday, December 12, 2019 through Sunday, January 5, 2020.
A great way to celebrate the holidays, The Rink in Downtown Burbank is just steps away from more than 400 shops and restaurants, and the recently renovated Burbank Town Center.
Located behind Burbank City Hall at the corner of Third Street and Orange Grove Avenue in Downtown Burbank, hours of operation will be 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM daily, extended to 11:00 PM on Friday and Saturday nights.
$12 unlimited skating (no re-entry). Skate rentals are $5, and Bobby/Tommy Skating aids are $8.
We can’t promise a blizzard, but The Rink will bring the North Pole a bit closer to home – and that’s good enough for us!
